Join the Quickdraw Council
We’re assembling an elite Quickdraw Council of experienced, honest, and passionate cannabis evaluators to judge the Texas Quickdraw Showdown series. Each competition is blind-judged live, in front of the crowd — and your insights help shape the future of Texas-grown cannabis.
Judging Commitment
If selected, you must be available in person from 2–7 PM on event day to complete all scoring and Council responsibilities. A short awards show and afterparty follows from 7–8 PM (optional but encouraged!).
This is a volunteer position. Judges will receive exclusive merch, vendor access, and be featured in all marketing materials leading up to the event.

We’re currently accepting judges for the following 2026 Showdowns:
● Houston – Feb 28
● Dallas – March 28
● Corpus Christi – May 2
● El Paso – May 30
You may apply for more than one city — just indicate your availability in the form below.
Quickdraw Council Selections
Judges for each city will be announced two weeks prior to each Showdown.
What We Look For
We’re seeking judges with strong experience in:
● Flower cultivation, breeding, or retail
● Terpene and cure evaluation
● Cannabis media or advocacy
● Consumer education & product knowledge
You do not need prior judging experience — just a clean palate, a sharp nose, and respect for the plant.

We’re rounding up a team of sharp-eyed, terp-loving flower experts to serve on the Quickdraw Council — the official panel of blind judges for each city’s showdown. This isn’t a casual puff and pass. We’re looking for judges who know good flower when they see it, smell it, taste it — and can score it with intention.
💥 Judging is in-person, blind, and live in front of a public audience from 2PM–7PM. Please only apply if you can commit to being on-site the full day of the event in your selected city.
